Key Summary of our Terms & Conditions of Sale
Only those people whose details are outlined on this application under the stated business name can purchase goods from Nursery Traders. Customers need to be respectful and considerate of our in-house policies and guidelines when shopping with us.
To protect ALL working within the industry, we have a STRICT policy of no clients of our customers or unauthorised persons to enter the premises or access our online catalogue.
Operating on various buying platforms, including walk-in purchases, Nursery Traders cannot always guarantee the availability of stock. Guarantees are only made if stock is specifically ordered to be picked and/or placed in our holding bay facility.
Nursery Traders can only process a refund/return within 48 hours of purchase and if the plants are in original condition, have not left their pot, and meet biosecurity requirements.
Holding of stock for orders - Nursery Traders is not liable for any stock a customer has selected or purchased held in our holding bay facility, unless under exceptional circumstance where there is a direct liability made on the part of Nursery Traders.
Stock held in our holding bay facility is for up to 21 days and only, under exceptional circumstance, can exceed 21 days. Stock held greater than 21 days will require the payment of a 20% deposit, which will be deducted from final invoice at the time the goods are shipped or collected. This deposit is non-refundable if stock is cancelled. Stock held more than 21 days may also incur maintenance fees charged at the rate of 5% each month pro-rata.
Cancelled Orders - The client agrees to pay all reasonable costs (including time and materials) incurred by Nursery Traders that is charged as a restocking fee.
Re-packing Costs - Should a customer change the delivery or pickup date of an order and not provide 24 hours prior notice, client agrees to pay all reasonable costs (including time and materials) incurred by Nursery Traders, charged as a re-packing fee.
A picking fee of 10% or $30 (whichever is greater) will be charged for all orders where Nursery Traders is required to pick and compile stock for customers, charged as a pack and handle fee.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they keep Nursery Traders up to date with correct business and contact information.
